The former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Sam Inokoba is dead.Inokoba died on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, after slumping in Lagos during a private family visit. According to Sahara Reporters, his son, Waripamo said: “My father slumped at about 2 am in the early hours of Wednesday and was confirmed dead before he could reach the hospital.” “Some of our people are on their way to Lagos to bring back his corpse.” Inokoba had defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in August and was seeking to contest the December governorship elections on the party’s platform.
