7 ways in which you can celebrate valentines day without having a date

According to chiff.com, Valentine’s Day is a day of
exchanging flowers, cards, and loving sentiments punctuated with warm feelings of admiration, affection, and infatuation.
That's very true, but modern reasoning has made it mandatory for you to have a date or you're not fit to celebrate vals day.
That's rather ridiculous. You could actually enjoy and make yourself (+others) happy on valentines day if you do it right, without a date!
How?
If you follow the tips below, you should not have a problem celebrating vals day being single only if you're building the problem by yourself.

7 ways in which you can celebrate valentines day without a date
  • Have a get-together with people you already have relationship with. Could be your friends, family or church mates.
  • If you are single because of a recent loss, allow this to be a day of grieving. Do not pretend that it’s not a hard day. Get support and sympathy.
  • Do not define yourself by your relationship status; Your relationship status is not your identity.
  • If you're not happy of being single, this is the time to strategise. List out the names of top crushes, give them a phone call, send/box a gift to them and work on how you'll be a perfect partner to anyone of them.
  • Since the theme of Valentines day is giving, make someone happy! No matter how little, send something to someone who is not even expecting your gift. Make it romantic if necessary. Tell him/her how much you love the person.
  • Send flowers to someone who doesn't have a sweetheart as well and sign it as anonymous (You can put your name if you wish to)
  • Take yourself out on a date. Give yourself pleasure! Find somewhere interesting to visit or do something that thrills you up. You could take a walk to see the beauty of places around you with your cone of ice cream.

Do have a wonderful valentines day!
