42 female students of a secondary school in Enugu were on board in a luxury bus returning to their homes in Lagos when the bus was attacked by a 12-man gang along Oke Odo, Shagamu expressway, Ogun state.
The hoodlums were said to have raped to innocent girls. It was also reported that handsets and other valuable items were collected forcefully from the girls.
The bus was said to have developed fault on the expressway when another bus from the transport company was sent to give the students a ride home. However, the conveying bus got there late at about 11.40pm. As at that time, the gentle men on the highway were already at work and attacked the bus thereby asking the students to lie down or they loose their precious lives. The robbers then drove the bus off the road into a bush and raped the students.
It was also reported that most of the students arrived in lagos yesterday morning with blood stained clothes. As a result, parents of the raped students weren't in a good mood; incident has also put a sad countenance on victims' family.
What punishment do you think these robbers deserve?
