Fuel Price increase to N250 per litre in Cross Rivers State

Annoying! As many consider it. The price of fuel in cross rivers state is now a thing of big concern.
Some parts of cross rivers state now selling fuel at the rate of 250 Naira per litre. As a result, motorists and taxi drivers have parked their vehicles so as not to empty their sure into the fuel sector.
Its a big shame for a country producing crude oil now suffering from fuel hike.
Most people who have visited cross rivers for the christmas and new year celebration has been stuck there as they can't afford the transport fare to go back to their respective homes after spending alot during the celebration.
Most petrol stations in cross rivers state sell between the range of 150-160 Naira. In areas like boki and environs, a litre of fuel sells about 200-250 Naira while in the northern senatorial district, a litre of fuel costs between 180-200 Naira.
Is this fair enough?

As i said earlier, travelling has become a difficult task to the residents of cross rivers state as in other states also.
A resident of cross rivers reported that a nearby motor park to his house in ugep which transports passengers to lagos collects 19,000 Naira for transport fare instead of the normal 4,000 Naira while those travelling to onitsha from cross rivers pay 15,000 Naira instead of the normal 3,500 Naira.

From ogoja to Abuja costs 5000 Naira instead of the normal 1,500 Naira then calabar to ogoja escalated to 4,000 Naira instead of 1,800 Naira.

Motorcycles (Okada) was banned in 2009 in cross rivers which now increased the number of vehicles. Now most streets in cross rivers state are filled up with vehicles due to the traffic caused by the long queue in filling stations.
