Kim Kardashian slams by FDA for promoting morning sickness pills

Kim Kardashian has been slammed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for promoting morning sickness pills,Diclegis on social media. FDA claims she violated federal drug-promotion rules by not educating the public on the side effects of the drug.

In June, the pregnant star wrote on Twitter and Instagram that she had been suffering from severe morning sickness  but had found relief with Diclegis. Alongside a photo of herself holding up the bottle,
Kardashian wrote, ''OMG. Have you heard about this? As you guys know my #morningsickness has been pretty bad. I tried changing things about my lifestyle, but nothing helped, so I talked to my doctor. He prescribed me #Diclegis, and I felt a lot better and most importantly, it’s been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby.''

In a letter posted to its website, the government agency [FDA] says the reality star’s post violated regulations because she never mentioned any of the drug’s side effects, which include drowsiness.
The agency’s letter reads, ''The FDA has reviewed the Kim Kardashian Social Media Post. The social media post is false or misleading in that it presents efficacy claims for DICLEGIS, but fails to communicate any risk information.”
Kim has since taken down the post which promoted Diclegis.
