An Angry Female Customer Letter To MTN About Re-Registering SIM (NEED TO READ THIS)

An Angry Female Customer Letter To MTN About Re-Registering SIM

Please read

LETTER TO MTN

Dear MTN,

I will not go and re-register my line. You can
fool everyone if you like, you might have fooled
me before, but you would never fool me again.
The only reason while you continue to pull the
wool over our gullible eyes is because the
consumer rights’ protection agencies are either
in the vegetative state, or completely dead.
How can you explain a situation where you would
tell your millions of teeming subscribers to
register their SIM cards and provide the
necessary bio-data, only for you to wake up one
morning to tell us to go and register our lines
again WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION? It
beats my imagination and it defies not just
logic, but also philosophy. Were you drunk when
you were registering our numbers? Did a
malicious virus wipe your entire database?
Maybe I’m giving you too much credit sef. You
probably wrote the records in books like an
ancient bookkeeper and a giant yellow rat ate
them all. Whatever your reasons (or lack of
reasons) may be, this is beyond ridiculous.
I have always maintained an MTN line because
apart from being my very first line, most of my
close associates also use MTN. To some extent,
the coverage is also extensive. I didn’t hesitate
when the directive came from NCC to register
our
lines. I braved the queue, registered my line
and collected my security number. Didn’t I try
enough?
Looking back, I can deduce that my attachment
to MTN was more sentimental than practical, as
your tariffs are the highest for calls and for
browsing. You send an average of 100 spam
texts
per day, enough to run down a Blackberry
battery and more than enough to give any Osun
State government worker waiting for
Aregbesola’s alert acute hypertension. Your
nuisance value knows no bounds.
Even Airtel that has been passed round
different investors more times than a devil’s
mail bag has not come up with this kind of
Grade A foolishness. What the heck is wrong
with
you? Don’t your customers mean anything to
you? Doesn’t it bother you that Nigerians who
wasted their time to register their SIM cards
have to do the same thing again? You haven’t
even deemed it fit to fine-tune the process. It
doesn’t make sense to preserve bad experiences
like these, in very much the same way that one
relic of history is preserving mud huts, and
stating them on an assets’ declaration form.
My records are not on your database, but you
remember my number when you want to tell me
to text ‘YES’ to win a missing plot of land in
Port-Harcourt, right? May heavy-duty thunder
fire all of una. I really don’t blame you. If
Nigerians had run your devious, xenophobic,
exploitative, heartless, opportunistic, fraudulent
ass back to South Africa, you wouldn’t be here
making them queue desperately like migrants.
What’s to say that there wouldn’t be another
sham registration in the next couple of months
since you guys obviously don’t know what you
are
doing? You blocked my line, you have helped
me. Prior to your ridiculous directive, I had
already banished your yeye SIM card to a barely
functional phone. I have even borrowed the
maximum permissible amount. Go ahead, feel
free. It sure feels great knowing
that when I eventually toss the phone into the
trash-can, I won’t have to take out the SIM.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
You deserve to be sued for every fraudulent
penny you’ve ever made on our shores. Thanks
to
other service providers for making sure that
your evil dream of becoming a monopoly will
forever remain a demented hallucination. There
are so many fishes in the ocean. I will not
tolerate your recklessness any longer. Peace at
last....
This letter speaks my mind.
Please forward till it reach those Idiot offices.

Hero My Ass, Don't Compare Ex-President Jonathan To Hero.

I feel really bad for the Nigerians calling Ex-President Jonathan a hero. Hero to who please?”
disdainfully. “ Why waste your saliva and brain on someone who has brought poverty, national blackout, danger, unemployment, terror and insecurity to
our dear nation. Don’t get me wrong, he was
my president before now. Both former president Jonathan and his wife are from poorest and local Nigeria villages ( Otuoke & Okrika).

Someone from nowhere stead to use that opportunity and he misused it graciously. Our ancestors will never forgive him for what he has turned Nigeria to especially him and all his subsidiaries, compatriots and accomplices. But my dear, he disappointed me.

Someone that has seen poverty before but was
blessed by God to change mankind. What
did he do? He forgot us Nigerians and
started forming ‘big man' for Nigerians and to the world to be seen him. I bet he thought the world was his. Thank God for his mercy for not allowing him to come back to complete his mission of doom" also those who worked under the former president
“They were all heartless people.

People that could not feel the pains of the poor who put them there to serve then. If
anybody by now is still calling Jonathan a hero
that person should be checked

Be The May Rookie And Get #500,000 Cash Grant Courtesy Ice-One

There are companies whose sole business objective is to make other companies succeed; Ice-Oneis one of those companies. A uniquely built management Consulting firm with years of experience within the west coast of Africa, Ice-One has carved out a niche for itself with a growing portfolio of successes as proof of its unique and effective positioning. With a team of dedicated young men and women, you might wonder how Ice-One has been able to achieve so much, working with great brands, and standing out as true innovators. We sat down with their Director of Business Development and Client Services, Mr. Ikenna Onuorah.. Head Of Operations, Joy Johnson and Creative Director, Gboyega Osunkoya, find out how.
Tell us a little about Ice-One…who are you and what do you do?
Mr. Ikenna: Ice-One is a management consulting firm rendering consultancy services in marketing and sales, business technology, corporate strategy, operations and organization. We’re uniquely wired and have our niche, connecting clients Clients to the Generation Y. Our media arm, Ice-One Media is also the brain behind “The Spark” and in a strategic partnership with Vanguard Media Limited, birthed “Vanguard Spark”.. A Youth Empowerment Platform.
Businesses are always looking to attract attention, how do you make your clients stand out from the crowd?
Ms. Joy: We believe in and are excited by every brand we take on. That belief and excitement is what helps us become more than consultants and more of an integral—interwoven part of those brands. In that way we see each company successes as our own. Since Ice-one is in itself a team of young industry leaders and unique minded innovators, we are able to impart that distinctive mix and freshness to every project we take on. Of course we do our homework on every case, by doing thorough analyses on their consumer, industry, competition, operations, and much more. This helps us identify problem areas and offer case and brand specific solutions. It’s what sets us apart and also as a result sets the brands we help apart as well. The evidence is in our body of work.
Your vision is to be the number one indigenous management consulting company out of West Africa by 2016. How will you achieve this?
Mr. Ikenna: It’s simple really…we will continue to innovate, offer world-class–out of the box thinking management consulting and we will continue to empower people and corporations alike. This is the sum of what our name is…Innovation, Consulting and Empowerment all wrapped in one package. Some of our clients like Airtel and The CHISCO Group among others are drivers of their industry in and out of Nigeria. We are taking the I.C.E factor to the Big guns within West Africa, and also triggering the growth of the young guns to drive the region’s economy.
What’s next after you have achieved this goal?
Mr. Gboyega: We shoot even higher…we remix our vision and aim to be the number one home grown management consulting firm out of Africa and then the world. We won’t stop, we don’t stop, and we can’t stop!
Quite a number of businesses, especially start-ups and budding entrepreneurs out there do not see the need for business consulting. Are they missing something?
Mr. Ikenna: They most definitely are. From time to time a company’s management requires a reassessment of the entire company, for growth, redirection, realignment and to meet all stake holder targets. Apart from the immense benefits of hiring a consultant for staff augmentation, analytical horsepower, training and skill-set augmentation and a dire need for the application of best practices across industries and functions, there is nothing better than a fresh perspective to help you bring about an external change force that can revolutionize the way you do business and secure higher returns. The best companies in the world hire management consultants…the question is “who are you hiring”? Do they understand the terrain? Are they young and upwardly mobile like you or are they stuck in old theories that will only deliver a stack of printed power-point slides piled away in a corner shelf in your office without any lasting change to your business? These are the questions to ask.
If compared with a competitor on our brand spark, how do you think ice-one will fair?
Mr. Ikenna: [Laughs] that’s not a fair question. You need to understand that every management Consulting firm has it’s own niche. We all have different approaches to delivering services. I told you earlier what our own unique selling point is—this is how we intend to satisfy our clients and if doing this catapults us above competition, and it surely will, then that will be a most welcome development.
As part of your corporate social responsibility, how do you give back to the society?
Ms. Joy: Empowerment is not just CSR to us, it is one of the tri-fold threading of our very nature. Ice-One would not be complete without empowering people. This is why we setup “The Spark”…as you know, it’s a youth empowerment platform and several local youths have benefited greatly from the monthly giveaways as well as the platform itself which we created as a form for self-expression. And this is only the beginning. We are not seeing our journey up as a solitary one, but we will be taking a lot of people up with us. Success is not meant to be a lonely or selfish path. At Ice-One, we love Africa and believe that our success is tied to Africa’s success.
Thanks for joining me in this interview, what will Ice-One be giving off as The Spark – an incentive for our Rookie of the month?
Mr. Gboyega: We’re giving what we know every rookie needs…we’re giving leverage. This leverage will deliver N500,000 in cash grant and business set up.

#NECLive3: Open letter to Ayeni Adekunle of TheNet.ng | MUST READ

First and foremost, I would like to say a big thank you to you - *Ayeni Adekunle* of *TheNet.ng*, for coming up with such a wonderful platform for promoting Nigerian entertainment industry as well as coming up with Nigerian entertainment conference.

In the last few years, I haven’t been able to attend the past Nigerian Entertainment Conference organized by you and your team, but all thanks to God, this year I did. It was awesome and  inspiring. I must say you did a great job, but there are few things you didn’t know that I would like to bring to your notice.

In this year Nigerian entertainment conference, there are few things that happened that was not welcomed by each and every one that attended the conference, most especially the audience/participants such as me, KokoVibes
Media.

I got to Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos around 9:15am and was directed to the conference hall – Grand ball Room by the security around 9:20am. I saw some people registering which I did. I picked my tag and goodie bag at the registration section and waited for about 45minutes before the conference room was opened. At about 10:05am, the conference room was opened and every participant was asked to enter the room.

The conference started at the right time, comedian *Tee A* was the host and Sheyi Shay* opened the conference with Nigeria National Anthem.

The conference was moving smoothly and everyone was attentive. Every word the panelist/speaker utter was inspiring, message-full and informative. I was so surprised when veteran Nollywood actress, *Joke Silva* came on stage and couldn’t stay long due to the intense heat in the room. She complained during her session – *“Teaching & Training Tomorrow’s Talent”*, that she won’t be able to talk much due to the extreme heat in the room. I checked behind me and saw a lot of people already sweating. I thought I was the only one sweating. I began to ask myself, are the standing ACs just a camouflage or what? Are these ACs working at all? Are these ACs tested
before the conference? I saw a lot of standing ACs, but none seem to be working which left me confused.

Apart from that, the conference was overcrowded that some people couldn’t get a seat. This made me wonder, if the conference was planned at all? Why a better hall could not be ready? They were extra chairs outside while some people were inside standing, what are those chairs meant for? Are they not meant for sitting?

Before Aunty *Joke Silva *came in, I was actually waiting for a *Coffee Break*, because that was what I saw on the conference website and magazine that was given to me during my registration at the conference
entrance. The *Coffee Break* was scheduled between 10:50 – 12:10 and 12:10 – 12:30, but I didn’t get any coffee. Immediately *MTVBase VJ, Ehiz* left the stage, aunty *Joke Silva* hit the stage and the host, *Tee A *didn’t say anything about the *Coffee Break*.

I almost busted into laughter when I heard some people complaining about the Coffee Break *at my back seat… *“Why are these people acting this way? At least there should be a break”* – that was how the conversation of *Coffee Break* started. At that moment, I was tasty; I quickly went outside so that I could get myself a bottle of water, since the conference team resisted giving us a break, but I couldn’t get a bottle of water.

On my way back to my seat, it was already few minutes after 2pm. I saw a friend, Lekksite, a blogger and founder of Gidi360.com. He complained about the *Break Out session. *He was so eager to share his past experience. He
told me he was opportune to attend last year Nigerian Entertainment Conference, *NECLive2*, and that the organizers still have a lot of work to do. He said, *“I was here last year, these people did the same. Since
morning, there has been no break. I need to get myself something to eat or drink”. “They told us 30minutes on paper, when panelists get on stage, they spend more than an hour on their session”* – he said. I smiled and returned to my seat.

Some minutes later, I got a call from a friend, Benjamin telling me to meet him outside that he’s tasty and needs bottle water. We met outside, went to the main road and started searching for where to get a bottle of water. Omo
no be joke ooo!, I’ve never experience such a thing before in my life. Chai, there is God ooo!

While working on the road, we saw a guy holding bottle water. We asked him where he got the bottle water, he told us he bought the water somewhere along the road. We bought 50naira bottle water each and returned to the
conference hall.

On my way to my seat, people were already asking me how I got the water. I described to them how I got the water and head straight to my seat.

Few minutes later, around 5pm, everyone was asked to go for break. Before then, everyone was already leaving; due to no break, time not being followed up according to what was stated on the conference website and
magazine, intense heat in the room due to high rate of audience. So people had no choice than to leave.

A question popped up to my mind, *is there any platform created to get feedback from participants? You have invested a lot of time to create Nigerian Entertainment Conference and we all know a lot of people turned
up, but have you guys invested time to get feedback from the participants?*I am not disputing the fact that you have the best speakers, and they all did perfectly well. Just that some things have to be fixed to make it
worthwhile.

I strongly believe that Nigerian Entertainment Conference 2016 would be far and far better than this year’s conference if my observations are taken into consideration.

Less I forget, I also expect a little bit of entertainment during the conference, since it’s an entertainment conference. Aside from that, I checked all the known sources; I found out that there is no platform created for feedbacks. At least your team should create a platform to get feedbacks from participants, as well working with your team to make the next edition better and more greater success. Just like Social Media Week Conference.

Before I finally drop my pen, I must say a big thank you to each and every panelist that turned up at the conference; which includes *George Theorpe, Davido*, *M.I Abaga*, *Joke Silva*, *eLDee*, *Ehiz*, *Tony Okoroji*, *Daryn Wober*, *Femi Falodun*, *Wunmi Obe, Kemi Lala Akindoju*, *Demola Ogundele*, *Innocent Uba*, *Shizzi*, and others that I couldn’t remember their names.

God bless you Sir/Ma.

I pray Nigerian Entertainment Conference 2016 would be far better.

Thank you!

*Oladipupo Olutayo*

Church Pastor Secret Escapades Exposed At Last

Private video tapes are currently circulating around Akyem Begoro in the Fanteakwa District of the Eastern Region in Ghana. The suspected brain behind the escapades – a physically challenged photographer, Yaw Offei, aged 50 years and native of Heneso Begoro – is an elder and choir leader of a popular church in the area.

According to sources in the area, Yaw Offei had been caught in action having private escapades with 64 different women in separate video footages. The suspect, who limps, is currently on the run as the police and the youth have launched a manhunt for him.

SOURCES gathered that the photographer allegedly perpetrated the acts at his photo studio after inviting young and old ladies, some of who are married, into the studio.

Reports indicated that he has a sofa in his studio in which he engages them in the escapades and gets the act filmed without the knowledge of his victims.

According to the sources, the limping man sent his damaged camera for repair last month and forgot to remove the memory card that contained the video of the escapades.

The repairer (name withheld), in an effort to repair the camera, removed the memory card, inserted it into his camera and watched the video. He was said to have spotted the photographer having his way with 64 different women.
