As part of her 8 country Africa-wide tour, DJ
Cuppy in
partnership with The Dangote Foundation is giving back to under privileged
youth across the entire continent. This charitable endeavor has taken the DJ to
visit charity organizations in Nigeria, Senegal and Ghana.
Earlier at the press conference announcing the 2015 tour, the
young DJ and music producer expressed her resolve to inspire the African youth
and her decision to give as much as she possibly can, while encouraging them to
overcome life’s hurdles.
The
Lagos launch of the tour was preceded by a visit to St
Peter’s Primary School in Epe,
where Cuppy and her team donated generous amounts
of welfare materials to the school children. She sang, marched, danced and
prayed with them.
In Dakar, Senegal, August 5th was set aside for the children of the ‘Empire Des Enfants’ orphanage where DJ Cuppy visited with The Dangote Foundation. At the orphanage, contributions were made to cater to the needs of the orphans. The tour moved once more toGhana, and the 8th of August the team visited Future First Academy in Accra. DJ Cuppymade new memories yet again with children by engaging them in empowering discussions.
The Cuppy Takes Africa tour is currently in Nairobi Kenya where she is scheduled to visit more schools and orphanages.
DJ Cuppy performed in Senegal at the Vogue Box center along with DJ Dollars andNiggajah. She also performed in Accra, Ghana at the Kristal Club, along with D Black.
