passengers watch as man removes pants aboard flight – A power drink air passenger was arrested and detained for unruly display which he exhibited aboard a British Airways flight.
The 48-year-old man who hails from the United Kingdom hit his wife and subsequently pulled down his pants during a journey from London to Houston, Texas. After the assault, the flight made a stop at Boston, Massachusetts, where some police officials who arrested Darren Halliwell were boarded. A source who witnessed the incident said Halliwell, who is an IT director of a company in the United Kingdom, was intoxicated as at the time he made the unruly display.
According to World Wide Weird News, Halliwell also pulled down his pants and argued with flight attendants before some passengers held him down until police arrived. His wife didn’t stop with her husband at US where he was arrested and she even told the police that she would be headed to UK as soon as practicable. Halliwell was charged with interfering with a flight crew and assault and was set at a bail of $5,000. The conditions for his bail is such that he would have to surrender his passport if he posts bail.
