Idris Elba just issued us one more motivation behind why he'd make a decent James Bond: He knows how to drive.
The British performer broke the speed record over a deliberate mile over the Pendine remains in Wales in a £175,000 Bentley Continental GT.
The first record had been set by Sir Malcolm Campbell in 1927, when he recorded a normal speed of 174.8mph.
Elba, 42, recorded a normal velocity of 180.361mph to break the record.
"I'm totally elated to have broken the "Flying Mile" at Pendine Sands. It's an honor to have tackled the test, and to effectively follow in the strides of the renowned Sir Malcolm Campbell," Elba said
