Buhari Withdraw From Presidential Debate

The highly anticipated presidential debate which would have set President Goodluck Jonathan against different applicants in the 14 February, 2015, race, particularly his sharp opponent, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, may not hold all things considered, as the All Progressive Congress, APC, has hauled his candidate out of the project.

The reason given by the APC for the withdrawal of its hopeful is that the open debate has been skewed as of now to support the officeholder president passing by the activities of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria, BON, the coordinators of the verbal confrontation.

As per the Director, Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Organization, Garba Shehu, the party's grouse is depended on a "harming narrative conveyed by some legislature affirmed TV channels on Buhari, the torrential slide of provocative proclamations, deception and unmitigated falsehoods being engendered by some of these media against our gathering and applicants.

Aside, components near to sitting President Goodluck Jonathan, have authorized arrangement of defamatory and demise danger advertorials against the individual, family and partners of the restriction pioneer, General Muhammadu Buhari."
