The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, has received the International Quality Crown Award in London for her contributions to the health sector.
The Chief Medical Director of LASUTH, Dr Wale Oke, created the revelation in and exclusive interview with NAN on Friday in Ikeja, Lagos State.
He spoke on the sideline of the nineteenth LASUTH Nurses Annual Conference.
Oke same the hospital bagged the award at the annual International Quality Crown Convention that passed on Nov. twenty three and twenty four in London.
According to him, the award is given by a gaggle referred to as the BID Group One, a global organisation dedicated to performance quality, innovation and excellence.
He said, “BID is a global organisation that goes everywhere the place to seem at non-public firms, organisations and hospitals. i feel health was recently included.
“Fifty-eight countries were inspected and eighty establishments were awarded.
“They have specific criteria on quality and repair delivery to the patients. they have a group that goes around accessing every establishment.
“LASUTH is that the solely hospital in Federal Republic of Nigeria that won the award for immeasurable contribution to the health world, for prime standing and expertise incontestable by prestigious performance for excellence and innovation within the gold class.
