Star Boy artiste Wizkid has hit the one million followers mark on Instagram. The pop star reached the milestone today (September 9). Wizzy is yet to acknowledge this feat on the photo/video sharing platform. Unlike Davido, Wizkid didn't reveal what he will do when gets to the one million mark. The latest picture on his Instagram account is of him dressed in all white sitting on a red couch.In August, Davido became the first Nigerian to reach one million followers on Instagram. After hitting that mark Davido gave a needy fan one million Naira.
Wizkid has 1.7 million followers on the micro-blogging site Twitter.The 'Ojuelegba' singer paid his last respect for victims of last Monday’s container accident at Ojuelegba bridge in Lagos on Sunday, September 7, 2015. About three persons were reportedly feared dead last Monday when a truck carrying a container fell off the bridge and smashed not less than two vehicles under the bridge with their occupants.
During his performance at the Glo Lafta Fest held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos yesterday, the singer, while performing his ‘Ojuelegba’ hit track, held a one-minute silence for the victims. The singer sent condolences and prayers to the families.
