Members of the prestigious Ikoyi Club 1938 have cause to rejoice and they are indeed rolling out the drums to mark the 77th anniversary of the club.
With the theme ‘Global Harmony…Embracing All,’ the club would kick off the celebrations with a charity visit to one of the orphanage homes in Lagos.
Speaking further concerning the celebration, Vice Chairman of the club and the Chairman of the Anniversary Committee, Mr. Olusola Adeosun, said there would be other activities including inter-sectional games for members in the various sections of the club, Elders’ Appreciation Day and Karaoke Night for the youths to mark the anniversary.
“The International Cultural Day which incidentally will be hosted on Nigeria’s Independence Day will be followed by the Anniversary Turn-up for members to interact and network in a very convivial atmosphere where they would be treated to good music, fun and entertainment,” Adeosun said.
