DB Records artiste D'Banj has congratulated prolific hitmaker Don Jazzy over his latest brand endorsement.
Yesterday (September 16), it was announced that the Mavin Records CEO is now the brand ambassador of Johnnie Walker.In an Instagram post shared today (September 17) D'banj put up the official Don Jazzy-Johnnie Walker poster and wrote "Congrats to you bro@donjazzy Welcome to the #Diageo family..."D'banj is a Ciroc ambassador. Both Ciroc and Johnnie Walker are under the Diageo company. In related news, D'banj was allegedly mobbed by 'area boys' recently. The incident happened on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Tin Can Port, Lagos.
Eyewitness accounts state that, as soon as the area boys laid their eyes on him, they demanded he settle them with cash but before he could speak a word, they deflated his tyres! Knowing he could not overpower the area boys who numbered over 50, D’banj, disembarked and they had escorted him to an ATM where he withdrew an undisclosed sum to settle them.
However, the area boys refused to disperse and stripped him of his wristwatch and other jewellery including his shoes. They only left him alone after police men came to his rescue.
