After a couple of weeks of rumours it has been confirmed that high
profile Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie is pregnant.
There has been speculation in the media concerning Mercy Johnson
and if indeed she is pregnant. Well according to Bella Naija, Mercy Johnson is
expecting.
She
gave birth to her first child, Purity
Okojie on December 30, 2012. Her second child, a boy Henry
Okojie, was born on October 15, 2014. This will be the third time Mercy
Johnson is conceiving in four years.

Johnson married Prince Odianosen
Okojie on August 27, 2011. Mercy Johnson first met her husband in 2008
aboard a flight from France. He revealed that he asked for her number but she
declined. He however was persistent in his pursuit of her. The pair got married
in 2011.
In an
interview with the Entertainer in June, Mercy Johnson said she stopped taking
romantic roles when their relationship started getting serious in 2009 because
her husband was not comfortable with them. "He wasn’t comfortable with the romantic scenes.
I stopped taking up such roles in 2009 when I realised we were getting serious
and headed for marriage. I was so in love with him that I started adjusting my
lifestyle and personality to suit him. He is enlightened and well-travelled. He
understands the demands of my job and has no problems with my career. He simply
gives me space to fly" she said.
