Previous Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, met with South African President, Jacob Zuma.
Additionally at the meeting in South Africa was active Minister of Agriculture, Akinwunmi Adeshina.
Atiku met with Zuma in the interest of President-choose, Muhammadu Buhari, to help Adesina's shots of turning into the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
Ties between both nations were as of late put under pressure after xenophobic assaults in SA prompted a progression of forward and backward which in the long run brought about the suspension of the Permanent Secretary of Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Danjuma Sheni.
