Boko Haram terrorists have purportedly slaughtered 43 individuals in a Borno State village.
The terrorists were said to have dispatched a five-hour attack on Gubio on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, as per Reuters.
The extremists, numbering around 50, arrived the town in an escort and scoured the town till 9.30pm, an inhabitant, Yusuf Mohammed said.
“They came, shooting, threatening to kill everybody. They set fire on many houses, burnt down our peoples’ vehicles and motorcycles. We lost 43 people including two children,” a local vigilante leader, Abubakar Mondama, said.
