
A senior Taliban figure in north-eastern Afghanistan has been killed alongside four different aggressors by Afghan security compels, an authority said on Thursday.
Sediq Sediqqi, a representative for the Interior Ministry affirmed this when he talked on security circumstance in the nation,
"Five Taliban contenders including Mavlawi Shafaq, shadow Taliban appointee senator for Kapisa area, were killed in a military operation in Tagab region Wednesday night,'' Sediqqi said.
The Taliban selected its own parts as assumed governors for territories and areas, alluded to as "shadow Taliban'' by government authorities.
In the interim, these shadow governors have no official status.
"In divided operations, four aggressors were slaughtered and three others captured in Kabul and the areas of Kandahar and Badakhshan,'' the Defense Ministry said.
