No less than 11 individuals have been harmed after a driver yelling "Allahu Akbar" ("God is most noteworthy") crashed into people on foot in eastern France, simply a day after a man articulating the same words was killed in an assault on cops.
Two of the individuals harmed in Sunday's auto assault in the city of Dijon were in a genuine condition, a police source said, including that the driver had been captured.
"The man, conceived in 1974, is clearly uneven and had been in a psychiatric clinic," a source near to the examination told AFP, including that "until further notice his intentions are still misty".
The man had focused on gatherings of passers-by at five separate areas in Dijon on Sunday evening in a frenzy that endured around 30 minutes, the police source said.
"Nine individuals were daintily harmed and two others truly yet their lives don't seem, by all accounts, to be in peril," the source said.
Witnesses told police that the driver yelled "Allahu Akbar" and "that he was representing the offspring of Palestine", a source near to the examination said.
Police sources said the driver was known to police for negligible offenses going once again to the 1990s.
