In response to the notice of a seven day final ultimatum which started from 1st to 7th july 2013 to the management of the ahmadu bello university teaching hospital, shika zaria, The kaduna state secretariat of the National association of nigerian nurses and midwives thru Comr Nuhu Philip has declared an indefinite strike action starting from 8th july 2013 unitl all the understated issues are resolved.
These demands include:
1. NON-SKIPPING OF CONHESS 10
2. HARMONIZATION OF STAFF NURSES EMPLOYED IN 2009
3. TWENTY-EIGHT (28) DAYS IN LIEU OF ACCOMMODATION ALLOWANCES FOR ALL NEWLY EMPLOYED NURSES SINCE 2009 TILL DATE
4. PAY RURAL POSTING ALLOWANCES TO ABUTH NURSES WORKING IN RURAL BRANCHES OF ABUTH
5. AVERT THE USE OF MULTIPLE NOMENCLATURES FOR THE NURSING STAFF
6. PROVIDE ADEQUATE STATIONARIES FOR EFFECTIVE FUNCTIONING OF NURSING SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
