According to Mrs Grace Ashi Wende, Secretary of Benue State Agency for the Control of AIDS (BENSACA), there are over 400 homosexuals in the state and they exist under an organised association known as Men Sleeping with Men (MSM).
In addition, over 318,888 children are living with HIV/AIDS virus in the state currently and placed on a therapy.
