Mrs Elekiya Ayisat Giwa, who was the mother of slain journalist Dele Giwa, is dead.
She passed on Tuesday morning at Aruna Ogun Hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos. Report say, Madam Giwa had been living with her youngest daughter, Mrs. Abibbat Ronke Aboaba.
Dele Giwa, co-founder NewsWatch was killed in a parcel bomb attack in his home in Ikeja, Lagos in 1987. He was buried in his village, Ugbekpe-Ekperi, in Edo State.
