Identity Card to be issued to Lagos Residents in January, 2013

Lagos State Government has vowed to register over 20 million Lagosians in a database and issue them I.D Cards for recognition anywhere.
This was announced on Thursday by Public Relations Officer- Mr. Akiniyi and he stated this measure is necessary to control influx of Illegal Citizens as well as to provide better governance.
