Jamb releases cut off mark for Varsities -180, Poly and CEOs -160 [2012/2013 SESSION]

Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the official cut-off mark of 2012/2013 session for all tertiary institutions.
The meeting which was held yesterday in Abuja with the Minister of Education - Mrs Ruqqayatu Ahmed Rufa'i resulted to a decision which tells university to adhere strictly to the admission guidelines and not forget the merit catchment areas also with educationally less developed states.
The cut off mark set for universities is 180 while that of polytechnics with other tertiary institutions is 160.
Well, that's not all! Private universities were warned against conduct of illegal admissions of students.
