Listed below are the new varsities approved by FGN:
- Macpherson University.
- SouthWestern University.
- Elizade University- Ilara Mokin, Ondo State.
- Evangel University- Akaeze, Ebonyi State.
- Gregory University- Uturu, Abia State.
