In the FIFA world ranking released yesterday, Nigeria was dropped two places behind the previous rank which was 43.
Nigerian has now been ranked 45th in the world by FIFA.
Ivory Coast and Ghana still maintaining the top rankings as they were ranked 18th and 26th in the world respectively.
Nigeria now ranked 6th and Africa as Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria, Egypt and Senegal ranks number 1-5 respectively in Africa.
