Mystery Service says it is leading further tests on the envelope which was presented on the White House as tests at a post screening office were found to have hints of the toxic substance.
Beginning tests on Monday were negative however more tests on Tuesday gave back a "possible positive" for cyanide.
A law implementation said there were no wounds or presentation attentiveness toward the screening office representative who initially opened the letter.
