A Federal High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun, on Thursday, sentenced a 67-year-old man and two sisters to five and seven years detainment individually for utilizing underage young ladies for prostitution.
The sisters, Ifeoma Umeh, 26 and Ogechi Umeh, 27, and Babatunde Folorusho were indicted for scheme and misleading utilization of underage young ladies for prostitution.
The charged were accused of scheme, permitting underage to be in a bordello and exchange prostitution, (tricky impelling of persons and offering of underage young ladies for prostitution.
Folorunsho, the holder of Temiogbe Hotel, Akute, was indicted for keeping a bordello and was released for being included in subjection of underage young ladies to prostitution.
In her judgment, Justice Giwa Ogunbanjo, said all the charged would serve the prison term simultaneously from the day of capture.
Ogunbanjo said that the court had considered that the sisters were first guilty parties and had no precursors of guiltiness in sentencing them.
The blamed persons had conceded to all the charges leveled against them, while Folorunsho argued not blameworthy to trick.
The guidance for the National Agency for the Prohibition and Trafficking in Persons, Mrs Kehinde Falade, communicated fulfillment with the judgment of the court.
She said, "We are satisfied with the judgment. The articulation on the characteristics of the denounced after the judgment was perused demonstrates that they are contrite.
"The org had won numerous cases and this won't be Anni I exemption.
"The blamed were excessively kind not, making it impossible to permit the court through a long procedure of trial."
Additionally talking, Ogechi urged different traffickers to suspend the unlawful business.
