As indicated by reports, Boko Haram extremists executed a lady in the process of childbirth amid the late assault in Baga, Borno State.
A witness to the assault expressed that the lady's infant kid was partially out when she was hit by the terrorists' shots.
"Half of the baby boy (was) out and she died like this," the unidentified witness told Amnesty International.
Another survivor reportedly said: “I don't know how many but there were bodies everywhere we looked.”
38-year-old fisherman, Yanaye Grema told AFP that he was “stepping on bodies” as he made his escape from Baga after the massacre.
“For five kilometres (three miles), I kept stepping on dead bodies until I reached Malam Karanti village, which was also deserted and burnt,” Grema said.
