Jail Sued For Forcing Muslim woman to church


A Muslim lady is suing a penitentiary in Ohio for constraining her to go to a Christian service while she was in jail.

24-year-old Sakeena Majeed was put in the slammer in a Cuyahoga County Corrections Center for 60 days in April in the wake of having a fight with a cop in Cleveland.

Majeed had conceded to offense ambush in the wake of having a contention with a cop.

Reports say Majeed guaranteed the prison guards constrained her to go to chapel benefit each Friday that were held by a baptist pastor, debilitating to place her in isolation on the off chance that she cannot.

Majeed says she told the officers various times that she was a honing Muslim, guaranteeing that they 'transparently chastised and taunted' her convictions.

Her attorney, Matthew Besser, said he is researching the prison's approaches, what exercises are viewed as required, and why.

Majeed is looking for unspecified harms and the claim saying her sacred rights were damaged.

Authorities from Cuyahoga County bunny yet to remark on the claim.
