Moremi hostel of University of Lagos (UNILAG) had its roof blown away this morning by the effect of a storm which reportedly killed a person also today in lagos.

Considering that this roof was probably very old and rusty and should have been replaced by then, the unnecessary loss of life could have been avoided. The heavy storm may have caused it to give way, but it could have been prevented with safety precautions.
